Jiva would like to congratulate Mrs. Avnita Bir (Principal, RN Podar School, Mumbai) and Mr. Ashok Pandey (Principal, Alcohn International School, New Delhi) for winning the National Award and CBSE Award for Teachers respectively.

Organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education, the awards facilitated the best teachers from CBSE schools across the country. The recipients were honoured by Union HRD Minister, Mr. Kapil Sibal, and Minister of State for HRD, Mrs. D. Purandeswari on the eve of Teachers’ Day.

How to take the MN Test

There are two ways to do the MN Test: through your school or institute, or directly online. If you do the test through your school or institute, it must be organized by a school administrator such as a principal. A registration date and test will be set. The written test takes approximately 20 minutes. After test papers are collected. Career Reports are delivered within two weeks of students taking the test.

Jiva’s Educational Director, Mr. Steven Rudolph, was recently presented with theVishishta Gurujan Samman during a Teachers’ Awards ceremony at Anand Mohan Mathur Sabhagraha, Indore.

Mr. Rudolph congratulated the august gathering of teachers and wished them on Teachers’ Day. He emphasized on the need for teachers to stay up-to-date in today’s globalized world, lest their knowledge become obsolete. “Today’s students are quite well-informed, thanks to the Internet and other easily-available sources of information. In such a scenario, the role of teachers should be focused on helping children identify their strengths and weaknesses, and personalise their experience of classroom learning,” Mr. Rudolph said.
